NEW DELHI: Crime Branch has arrested a eunuch for allegedly abducting and bobbitising a man to induct him in their group. The group used to operate from a house in Loni where victims would be lured and bobbitised. The victim claimed that four others had also suffered the same fate. The eunuch is being interrogated to find the other victims.The victim was treated at a hospital in northeast Delhi. A case was registered at Khajoori Khas police station. In his statement, he told police that a gang of eunuchs led by one Bijli had abducted him while he was returning from work and forced him to join their group. When he refused, Bijli bobbitised him and left him by the roadside where he fell unconscious.A case of assault was also found registered against Bijli in Bhalswa Dairy. “A team led by DCP Rajesh Deo tracked down and caught the eunuch from a hideout,” said joint commissioner (crime) Alok Kumar.During interrogation, Bijli said that after bobbitising the man they started hiding near Sharad City in Loni to evade police. They had been trying to induct more people in the group to beg at traffic signals. They would randomly abduct people and if they refused to be bobbitised willingly, they would be forcefully operated upon.A case of attempt to murder and causing hurt has been registered against Bijli. The other members of the group are absconding.
