more-in Haryana Public Works Minister Rao Narbir Singh has announced a plan to connect Vasant Kunj in south Delhi with MG Road in Gurugram. The link road will further be connected to the Delhi-Jaipur highway. Mr. Rao said that a u-turn would be constructed on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway near Ambience Mall to give relief to residents living near the mall from traffic. The u-turn will be constructed at a cost of around ?150 crore, which will be equally borne by DLF and Ambience. The Minister said that the present government is making efforts to improve the connectivity between Delhi and Gurugram to remove traffic congestion. To ease traffic congestion After opening of the KMP Expressway on August 15, 2018, the traffic congestion will further be eased for people living near Ambience Mall, he said. A logistics hub will also be made along the expressway so that all heavy vehicles carrying goods will not have to enter the city, said the Minister. Referring to Dwarka Expressway, the Minister said that the project would cost ?7,200 crore and its tenders have been invited. Construction work will likely begin from next month. The expressway will improve connectivity between Delhi and Gurugram and reduce traffic congestion, he added.
