NEW DELHI: A halt at Golf Links for a chat after lunch at Khan Market turned into a nightmare for a 21-year-old MBA student and his girlfriend, who were apprehended by two "policemen" for indulging in "obscene acts" in a high security area. The two men not only robbed the couple of around 1 lakh in cash but also thrashed them and forcibly took them to an ATM in Lodhi Colony, where they were made to withdraw more money, sources said on Friday afternoon. After robbing them of around Rs 1.6 lakh, the men threatened the couple with dire consequences and asked them to drive away without making any noise. Police have launched a manhunt to nab the robbers, although the FIR has strangely been filed under section 382 (theft after preparation made for causing death or hurt) of the IPC, instead of the sections dealing with robbery and extortion.Footage from the CCTV cameras installed in Golf Links, Mehar Chand Market and adjoining areas are being scanned to identify the men.
