30-year-old nabbed for killing taxi driver in Delhi's Jahangirpuri

According to the police the accused has been identified as Yogesh for allegedly stabbing Mehtab, a taxi driver. A 30-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday night for allegedly stabbing a cab driver for talking to his live in partner in North West Delhi's Jahangirpuri on Tuesday. Police said that Yogesh is also a taxi driver. Police said that Yogesh asked Mehtab to stop talking to the woman but he said that he'll continue to do so. Mehtab came and saw that the woman was sitting in a car with Yogesh," said a senior police officer.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday night for allegedly stabbing a cab driver for talking to his live in partner in North West Delhi's Jahangirpuri on Tuesday. Police said that the accused asked the deceased not to talk her, however, he did not listen to his requests. According to the police the accused has been identified as Yogesh for allegedly stabbing Mehtab, a taxi driver. Police said that Yogesh is also a taxi driver. Deputy Commissioner of Police (North West) Aslam Khan said that Yogesh was in a live-in relationship with a woman for over 10 years and objected to Mehtab talking to her. "The woman was in contact with Mehtab for the last few months. When Yogesh got to know about it, he got angry. On Tuesday, he made the woman call Mehtab telling him that she has come to meet him. Mehtab came and saw that the woman was sitting in a car with Yogesh," said a senior police officer. Police said that Yogesh asked Mehtab to stop talking to the woman but he said that he'll continue to do so. "As Mehtab stepped out of the car, Yogesh stabbed him and fled the spot. "The woman had no idea that he would kill Mehtab," the officer said. Injured Mehtab then walked towards the gate of Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital where he collapsed. "Mehtab was rushed inside by locals and was declared brought dead and a police call was made to police informing about the incident," said a senior police officer. JEALOUS
