Delhi: Man shot dead after his bike brush pass a car

A 21-year-old man was shot dead after his motorcycle touched the door of a car parked outside a store in East Delhi's Pandav Nagar area. Seconds later around four rounds were fired at Yogesh Singh, out of them three hit him. The deceased Yogesh Singh along with Aman and Yogesh alias Golu had gone to the day&night store to pick up some items. "My son Sandeep was admitted to the hospital and Yogesh was also present with me at the hospital. The trio had stopped the motorcycle and were on it when a white i20 car came next to the motorcycle as well.

A 21-year-old man was shot dead after his motorcycle touched the door of a car parked outside a store in East Delhi's Pandav Nagar area. The incident took place late night on Sunday. The two people who were present with the deceased at the time of the incident did not inform the police or made a PCR call. The deceased Yogesh Singh along with Aman and Yogesh alias Golu had gone to the day&night store to pick up some items. The trio had stopped the motorcycle and were on it when a white i20 car came next to the motorcycle as well. One of the occupants of the car was stepping out when the door touched the motorcycle. An argument between them ensued, while Aman and one of the accused went inside the store to purchase the items the argument continued. By the time Aman came out the argument was still going on. An agitated Yogesh picked up an iron rod lying on the road and broke the window of the driver seat. Seconds later around four rounds were fired at Yogesh Singh, out of them three hit him. The accused men sat in the car and fled. Golu and Aman did not inform the police but informed had called up their relatives at home. Pankaj Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) stated that a police officer deployed at the Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital informed them about the murder. "When Yogesh was brought to the hospital, one of our officers on duty alerted us," said Singh. As per relatives of the victim Yogesh had gone to meet his cousin who was admitted at Kukreja hospital, minutes away from the store. "My son Sandeep was admitted to the hospital and Yogesh was also present with me at the hospital. He insisted he would stay back with him and dropped me home around 9pm," said Dhaneshwari, a family member. Short-Fuse
