Delhi: Man calls up PCR, threatens to kill PM Modi

NEW DELHI: A man has been nabbed for allegedly calling up the police control room and threatening to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi . Cops tracked down his mobile number. Police said that he was traced to central Delhi’s Anand Parbat where he owns a tailoring shop. He would also undergo a psychiatric test. During interrogation, he claimed to have been drunk when he made the call after suffering some losses in business.However, cops are probing into his antecedents as well.

NEW DELHI: A man has been nabbed for allegedly calling up the police control room and threatening to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi . Police said that he was traced to central Delhi’s Anand Parbat where he owns a tailoring shop. He is being questioned by a joint interrogation team of the Delhi Police and intelligence agencies.Police sources said Muktiyar Ali (53) had called the PCR on Thursday afternoon and hurled abuses at the PM, threatening to take “actions” against him and some BJP leaders soon. He then switched off his mobile phone. Cops tracked down his mobile number. During interrogation, he claimed to have been drunk when he made the call after suffering some losses in business.However, cops are probing into his antecedents as well. He would also undergo a psychiatric test. A case would be registered after the interrogations.
