Delhi-NCR witnessed light rains; more rains, hailstorm expected20 Feb 2019, 06:06PM ISTSource: TNNIt early Wednesday morning, parts of the National Capital Region witnessed light rain on , with the mercury settling at 14.5 degrees Celsius in Delhi, three notches above the season's average. There is possibility of light rain and hailstorm later in the day. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 24 degrees Celsius. The weatherman said that there is possibility of more rains later in the day, adding hailstorm is also likely at isolated places in the city. According to the meteorological department, 1.6 mm rainfall was recorded at the Safdarjung observatory till 8.30 am.
