4-day parental sessions in govt schools begins

New Delhi, June 21To bring reforms in the education system, the government is organizing a four-day session for parents of government school students. Thousands of parents attended the sessions in Delhi government schools. Some of the parents shared their experiences and sought lot of clarifications and provided valuable feedback. Such sessions will be helpful in building a collective vision for the future wherein all stakeholders collaborate. He said for reforms in the education sector, it is very important to involve parents and get their feedback.

Thousands of parents attended the sessions in Delhi government schools. These sessions are being facilitated by the teachers and the members of school management committee. Some of the parents shared their experiences and sought lot of clarifications and provided valuable feedback. Such sessions will be helpful in building a collective vision for the future wherein all stakeholders collaborate. A parent, Pankaj’s father from Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Bharat Nagar, said his son had low self-esteem, but now expressed himself better. He said for reforms in the education sector, it is very important to involve parents and get their feedback. —TNS
