Delhi Fire Service rescues labourer trapped inside a pit in Shastri Park

New Delhi: Delhi Fire Service (DFS) on Tuesday said that they have rescued a 40-year-old labourer who got trapped inside a pit in northeast Delhi's Shastri Park area. The fire service said it received a distress call at 9.50 am and rushed two fire tenders to the accident site. According to DFS, the man was trapped in the loose mud while he was digging a pit. DCP (North-East) Ved Prakash Surya said that they received a call in the morning regarding a person fell in the pit. During the investigation, it was found that a portion of the mud wall fell on Tavrej when he was working.
