3 killed 2 critical in separate road accidents in Gzb

G B Nagar: In three separate road accidents reported from parts of Gautam Buddh Nagar district, at least three persons were killed while two other were critically injured on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. As per police, in first accident from sector 47 intersection area of Noida, a speeding TATA Tiago car crashed into the divider leaving two persons killed while another with critical injuries. According to police, the victims identified as Siddharth Sharma (30), a native of Haldwani and Ajay (34) of Meerut died in the incident while Ghanshyam, a resident of sector 45 area of Noida received critical injuries. Vineet Jaiswal, Superintendent of Police (city), Noida said that the incident occurred around 4 am when deceased Siddharth Sharma, who was working with a travel agency, lost his control over the vehicle. "Three persons, all friends, were travelling in a silver Tiago car when it collided with the divider of the nursery road is sector 47 area. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared two of them as dead on arrival while another person has been getting treatment. As of now we have not received any complaint into the matter while further investigations are underway," said Jaiswal. In second incident, two trucks collided into each other near DLF mall in sector 18 and the driver of rear truck was trapped in the mangled truck. Police officials said that the incident occurred around 12:10 am when the truck collided into another truck from behind. "Sector 20 police performed rescue operation and pulled out the driver, identified as Lekhpal from the mangled frame. He has been admitted to hospital and his condition is stable," said a police officer. In third incident, a biker was crushed to death after a truck hit him in site-V area of Greater Noida around 10:15 am on Sunday. Police have seized the truck while the driver managed to flee after the incident.
