Noida: A 16-years-old girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances after she fell off from the balcony of her flat located at 15th floor in Amrapali Silicon city society in sector 76 of Noida. Police not recovered any suicide note from the spot and they are probing covering angles of suicide as well as an accident. According to police, the deceased has been identified as Riya Sharma, a student of class 11 at a private school in Noida. Riya had been staying with her father, mother, a younger brother and her grandmother at her flat situated on 15th floor in tower-R of the society. Dharmendra Kumar Sharma, station house officer of sector 49 police station said that the incident occurred on late Tuesday night. "Police received information that a girl has committed suicide and she has been taken to Kailash hospital by her parents where she was declared brought dead. A team was sent to the hospital and the body has been sent for the post mortem," said Sharma. The officer further said that they are not clear as the girl committed suicide or she fell accidentally. "Prima Facie it appears that the girl has committed suicide. However, we are waiting for autopsy reports to ascertain the actual reason behind her death," added Sharma.
