Potholes pose danger to drivers in Ggm

This has not been a one-off incident recently a school bus carrying school children avoided being overturned after hitting a pothole. From various incidents of accidents to complaints of commuters having backpain due to sudden jerk caused by the potholes, bad roads are posing dangers to drivers in the city. There have been around 150 areas have been identified in Gurugram itself whose potholes need to rectified but have not been done as yet. Recently a group of children of Vipul Lavanya society held a protest by displaying the placards that how driving through poor roads was a the risk to their lives. There are also complaints that state of poor roads is also contributing to dust pollution in the city.

Gurugram: It was a narrow escape from death of a biker on Pataudi road after his bike got stuck in a pot filled with sewage water on Tuesday. He was saved by the passersby who then admitted him to the nearby hospital as he had sustained injuries. This has not been a one-off incident recently a school bus carrying school children avoided being overturned after hitting a pothole. From various incidents of accidents to complaints of commuters having backpain due to sudden jerk caused by the potholes, bad roads are posing dangers to drivers in the city. The poor situation is most visible in the recently developed new sectors of Gurugram. In these areas, authorities have not been able to make roads as the external development charge by the builders has not been given to them. Recently a group of children of Vipul Lavanya society held a protest by displaying the placards that how driving through poor roads was a the risk to their lives. Not only internal roads but even prominent city roads like MG road, Golf Course Extension road, New railway road, Mahaveer chowk and August Kranti Marg used by thousands of commuters daily are filled with potholes. There are also complaints that state of poor roads is also contributing to dust pollution in the city.
