State participants tour Delhi, given live voting experience

On the second day of the two-day capacity building training program organized by the Election Commission of India for Booth Level Officers (BLOs), BLO Supervisors, Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), District Election Officers (DEOs) and Booth Awareness Groups/Booth Level Volunteers (BLVs) of Jharkhand at the International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM), New Delhi, the participants were given a tour of Delhi and live voting experience. 402 different stakeholders from Jharkhand related to the election participated in this training program organized in New Delhi on 19 and 20 May. During the Delhi tour, the participants were taken on a tour of major places like the National Museum, Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Parliament House etc. Live voting experiences were also conducted in the training institute. In which all the participants were given information about voting on EVM, line management etc. During the training, all the participants including booth level officers, volunteers, and bag members looked excited.
