Taking a major step towards fulfilling its commitment of No one should remain unemployed, Delhis Labour and Employment Minister Kapil Mishra held a high-level meeting on Tuesday. The meeting focused on devising strategies to provide employment opportunities for Delhis youth across various sectors - from labour to engineering and technical to non-technical fields. In partnership with industrial bodies, educational institutions and Government departments, the Government aims to establish a robust system that not only boosts employment generation but also paves the way for a bright future for the youth, in accordance with their skills and potential. Representatives from DICCI (Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), CII, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Department of Training and Technical Education, the Department of Higher Education, and Delhi Technical Institute participated in the meeting. The primary objective of the meeting was to formulate a comprehensive strategy to connect the youth of Delhi with gainful employment and to establish effective coordination among various departments and industrial bodies. Mishra emphasised that the Government will leave no stone unturned in its mission. He called upon all stakeholders to work in unison so that every young person is provided with employment aligned with their qualifications and interests.
