Ready to roll back all decisions: Sisodia

BUDGET PRIVATE SCHOOLSTribune News ServiceNew Delhi, May 1The Delhi government is ready to rollback all decisions which are creating problems for small budget private schools, said Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia while adding that it is the top notch or high fee private schools that trouble parents largely. He stressed that parents mostly have problems only with private schools that charge high fees. On the occasion, president of Centre for Civil Society Dr Parth J Shah demanded that on the lines of mohalla sabha and mohalla clinic, mohalla shiksha sabha should also be formed to resolve grievances. Kulbhushan Sharma, president of National Independent Schools Alliance (NISA), the umbrella body of budget private schools in Delhi, said due to same set of government laws applied to both small and big schools, budget private schools are facing a lot of problems. MLA Mahendra Yadav was also present during this meeting and he assured his full support to good quality education.

Speaking at an event organised to award children from 31 schools which participated in Sandhi Olympiad by a think-tank Centre for Civil Society, Sisodia said his aim to join politics was not only to create a corruption-free India, but also to provide good quality education to children. He stressed that parents mostly have problems only with private schools that charge high fees. On the occasion, president of Centre for Civil Society Dr Parth J Shah demanded that on the lines of mohalla sabha and mohalla clinic, mohalla shiksha sabha should also be formed to resolve grievances.
