DTC bus catches fire, no one injured

Following which four fire tenders were rushed to the spot, a Delhi fire department official said.The fire tenders took 30 minutes to douse the fire, the official said. NEW DELHI: A Delhi transport corporation (DTC) bus caught fire on Thursday while on its way to Laxmi Nagar from ITO, which led to a severe traffic jam on Vikas Marg.The passengers and the DTC staff managed to alight from the bus unharmed and no casualty was reported, said a senior police official.The control room was informed about the incident at 7.45 PM.
