GURGAON: A 44-year-old man died when his bike was hit by a speeding car while crossing the underpass near Genpact Chowk on Friday morning, police said. An FIR was registered. The police are looking for the car driver who fled the spot after the incident. According to the police, the deceased is Raj Bahadur Yadav, who worked as a driver. Yadav had been escorting his brother Narender Singh, who was in a taxi following Yadavs bike, around 9am on Friday when the incident occurred. The brothers were on their way to Chattarpur at the time.As we were crossing the underpass near Genpact Chowk on our way to Delhi, a speeding car collided with Rajs bike. Due to the impact of the collision, Raj fell on to the road and suffered severe injuries injuries on his arms, legs and head. He was bleeding profusely, Singh said in his complaint. The driver, Singh alleged, managed to flee the spot with his vehicle. Yadav was immediately rushed to the Civil Hospital in Sector 10A for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries on Saturday. Inspector Vinay Kumar from the Sector 43 police booth said, There were no CCTV cameras near the accident spot, so the incident was not recorded anywhere. We are trying to gather information from eyewitnesses. Specific details will emerge as the investigation progresses. Initially, the case was registered at Sector 43 police booth.
