Gurgaon: The domestic helper, a teenager, rescued from a Sector 57 house after months of alleged torture and sexual assault was discharged from the government hospital where she was being treated after her rescue on December 7.Her family alleged that they hadnt been given any discharge papers, and the doctors didnt prescribe any medicines for her to take.We were called by the police and the hospital this afternoon and told that she was healthy and can be taken home. When we asked the doctors about what medicine to give her after her discharge, they did not give us anything, the girls mother told TOI.An ossification test has estimated her age to 16 or 17, and not 13 as was specified in the police complaint, cops said. The girls family denied this, saying that the report wasnt accurate. She is supposed to turn 14 in a few months, the girls mother said. Ossification test includes taking x-rays to check the growth of specific bones that could indicate an individuals age. They also said the girls family did not have her Aadhaar card, and her ration card incorrectly gave her age as 32. Thats why we had to get the ossification test, said ACP (crimes against women) Dr Kavita HPS.Police said that a medical board, which includes doctors from the Sector 10s General Hospital, has been formed to study the medical reports and substantiate the alleged crimes.Five days since the girls rescue, arrests are yet to be made .The teenager, who was employed at the Sector 57 house five months ago, was found covered in burn marks, dog bites and several wounds. The girl told her mother that she was forced to strip by the two sons of her employer Shashi Sharma (51).The girl said the two sons assaulted her and warned her that they will release her videos online if she didnt comply. The family runs a construction company, the ACP said. An FIR was registered against Sharma and her sons, but it doesnt name the pair. The girls family had on Monday questioned why cops hadnt arrested any of the accused till now.The ACP said a medical board will give its opinion by Wednesday and then investigators will be able to get a clear idea. We have seized the mobile phones of the three accused and we have sent it to the tech team to determine if any videos/documents/photos have been deleted… We had also questioned Shashi Sharma. We cannot proceed with any arrests till we have a clear idea of the crime, the ACP said.
