Truck on wrong lane rams another, 1 dies

Gurgaon: A 30-year-old truck driver died on Wednesday after another truck rammed into his vehicle on the Sohna-Palwal road near Sihani village. According to police, Harvansh was heading from his workplace in Uttarakhand towards Gandhinagar in Gujarat when a Tata Canter entered the wrong lane and rammed into Harvanshs truck.He received multiple fractures and head injuries, leading to his demise while the driver of the other truck sustained minor injuries, Sudip, assistant sub-inspector of Sadar police station.Both the drivers were admitted to a hospital in Sohna, where doctors declared Harvansh dead. Harvanshs brother, Gurjeet Singh — also the complainant in the case — said he was informed by the cops about the incident. The accident occurred on the Salem-Chennai highway near Nilavarapatti, close to Kilakukadu. The collision caused traffic congestion, and a crane was brought to remove the vehicles involved.
