Haryana: Officials skip training sessions, 26 colleges handed govt letters

GURGAON: Several officials from the education department were found unavailable for training in ethical and responsive governance Mission Karmyogi. The department has issued letters to 26 government colleges to adhere to the chief secretarys instructions and send in substitutes for the training session.The training began on November 22, and colleges were asked to send replacement requests beforehand to ensure a smooth programme.The department of education had nominated 44 master trainers for training by Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) to educate 6,046 employees in the higher education, science and technology, and technical education departments.The department was asked to select Group A or Group B employees. Group C employees working in supervisory capacity can be nominated to train Group C and D employees if Group A or B employees are not available.In Gurgaon, two master trainers are educating 352 employees in higher education and science and technology departments. Hisar, with a maximum number of employees in all three departments, has four master trainers educating 511 employees in higher education and science and technology and 153 employees in technical education.A total of 4,994 employees are in departments of higher education and science and technology and 1,052 in the department of technical education, who are undergoing training by the master trainers, who will first pursue a course as designed and initiated by HIPA.Notable personalities from diverse fields, including IITs, IIMs, public administration, and yoga gurus, had collaboratively shaped the missions framework.Under Mission Karmyogi by the Haryana government, 3.3 lakh government employees will receive training to maintain excellence and professionalism and instill accountability.We also published the following articles recentlyUP higher education director not fit to hold post: High courtThe Allahabad high court rebuked UP director of higher education Brahmdeo for sitting on a file related to gratuity and death benefits of a deceased professor. Amazon One Enterprise is a similar solution for organizations, generating interest from companies like IHG Hotels and Resorts. While security concerns may arise, Amazon assures that the system prioritizes privacy and does not use palm information for identification.With debt rising, government urges departments to rationalise loansThe finance department issued directives to recover loans extended to boards, corporations, public institutions, and local bodies for diverse developmental and non-developmental activities. The outstanding loans to state-run companies, corporations, local bodies, autonomous institutions, and non-government organizations show increasing loans but static repayments. Despite high-cost borrowing from the market, the return on investment is significantly lower. Karnatakas outstanding debt stands at Rs 5.5 lakh crore, while budget estimates stand at only Rs 3 lakh crore. Concerns over repayments and bringing Karnataka out of debt are inevitable, especially with the electricity supply companies (Escoms) having a combined liability of Rs 98,000 crore.
