District Social Welfare Department of Kamrup M Organized Rally To Mark Poshan Maah

GUWAHATI: A rally was organized by the District Social Welfare department of Kamrup (Metropolitan) district to mark the celebration of Poshan Maah on Tuesday from DC office to Jahajghat AWC. The rally was flagged off by Minister of Social welfare Pramila Rani Brahma along with Deputy Commissioner Kamrup metro Biswajit Pegu. Officials from Agriculture, Sports, Health, Labour Welfare, Education, ASRLM, Food and Nutrition Board also participated in the rally. The rally was organized to create awareness among the people about the Poshan Maah and its 5 themes i.e., first 1000 days of a child, diarrhoea, anaemia, hand wash and sanitation, Poshtik Aahar.
