Sadou Asom Beton Bonchito Teachers body demands job regularization

STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: Sadou Asom Beton Bonchito Karmaroto Prathamik Shikshak Sanstha (SABBKPSS) held a representative meeting at the Dispur Press Club on Tuesday. “The government had assured us that our demands will be met before August 15, but now they are trying to recruit new TET teachers. We are not opposing the new recruitments but firstly, the government should find a solution to our problems before recruiting new teachers”, said Neog. Speaking further, he added that the dues of the retired and expired teachers should also be cleared. STAFF REPORTER GUWAHATI: Sadou Asom Beton Bonchito Karmaroto Prathamik Shikshak Sanstha (SABBKPSS) held a representative meeting at the Dispur Press Club on Tuesday. Addressing a press meet after the meeting, the teachers bodys general secretary Basanta Neog said that the organization will hold protests if the government does not regularize the jobs of around 12,000 salary deprived teachers and clear their dues before Bohag Bihu. It has been a long-standing demand of the body from the government to clear the dues of the teachers who have been working for many years without receiving any salary. “The government had assured us that our demands will be met before August 15, but now they are trying to recruit new TET teachers. We are not opposing the new recruitments but firstly, the government should find a solution to our problems before recruiting new teachers”, said Neog. Speaking further, he added that the dues of the retired and expired teachers should also be cleared.
