Budget session of Assam Legislative Assembly to have 12 working days from March 2 27 2020

Staff ReporterGUWAHATI: The Budget session of the Assam Legislative Assembly (ALA) is to have 12 working days, spanning from March 2-27, 2020. The Budget session will be interrupted by government holidays and department-related standing committee meetings. The BAC (Business Advisory Committee) of the ALA that met on Wednesday fixed the schedule of the session. State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will table the State's annual Budget in the Assembly on March 4.
