SSUHS celebrated its annual day at GMCH auditorium Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Srimanta Sankardev University of Health Science (SSUHS )celebrated its Annual Day at the GMCH auditorium in Bhangagar on Monday. He delivered a speech on 'Government Strategies for advance Health Education in Assam''. Padmashri Uddhab Bharali and Prof AK Barman, DME, Assam delivered keynote addresses on 'Innovations applicable to Health' and 'Academic Reforms in advance medical education and healthcare in Assam', respectively. SSUHS anthem composed and sung by Joi Barua was released, and the SSUHS Best Research Paper Awards and SSUHS Lifetime Achievement Awards were also presented. Uddhab Bharali released the first issue of SSUHS 'Newsletter'.

Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Samir Sinha was the chief guest of the event. He delivered a speech on Government Strategies for advance Health Education in Assam. Padmashri Uddhab Bharali and Prof AK Barman, DME, Assam delivered keynote addresses on Innovations applicable to Health and Academic Reforms in advance medical education and healthcare in Assam, respectively. SSUHS anthem composed and sung by Joi Barua was released, and the SSUHS Best Research Paper Awards and SSUHS Lifetime Achievement Awards were also presented. Uddhab Bharali released the first issue of SSUHS Newsletter. Various competitions and inter-college cricket also marked the occasion and the celebration concluded with cultural a show under the direction of reknown artist Dr. Anjanmoyee Saikia.
