Nandamuri Balakrishna, the veteran actor of the Telugu film world, often remains in the headlines due to his statements. Recently, Nandamuri Balakrishna, in an interview to a TV channel, made a derogatory statement about legendary music composer and singer AR Rahman, due to which he is being heavily trolled on social media.
Nandamuri Balakrishna while talking about AR Rahman said that he does not know who AR Rahman is. Not only this, but he also said that I think Bharat Ratna is equal to the nails of my father (NTR).

In an interview with a Telugu Tv channel, he said, "I don`t know who is AR Rahman. He won an Oscar and I don`t even know who he is. He gives hit songs once in a decade.
After this, regarding an award, Nandamuri said that "I feel that Bharat Ratna is equal to the nails of my father NTR, no award can compensate for the contribution of my family in Tollywood".
