'Five tribes from Arunachal to get ST status soon'

ITANAGAR: Union tribal affairs minister Jual Oram has assured Arunachal Pradesh that five tribes from the state will be included in the list of Scheduled Tribes (ST) soon.The assurance came when Lok Sabha MP from Arunachal East Ninong Ering called on Oram on Tuesday and requested him to facilitate the early inclusion of five tribes - Yobin, Nocte, Tutsa, Tangsa and Wancho - in the list, a press release issued by the MP stated here on Thursday.
