Arunachal Pradesh governor for all-weather road from Tawang to Guwahati

Referring to the difficulties faced by the people of Tawang, especially during medical emergencies, Mishra said the present road between Lumla and Guwahati gets blocked by landslides during the rainy season and by snowfall in winter. ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh governor Brig (Retd) BD Mishra, during his meeting with the officials of ministry of external affairs, has underlined the need for an all-weather road connecting Tawang and Guwahati via southern Bhutan , a release issued by the Raj Bhavan said here on Friday.During a meeting with MEA joint secretary (North) Sudhakar Daleha and his deputy secretary in New Delhi on Thursday, the governor informed them of the necessity of building this road between Lumla in Tawang district of Arunachal and Guwahati.
