Khandu seeks probe into Arunachal youth's death

ITANAGAR: Chief minister Pema Khandu has written to his Uttar Pradesh counterpart Yogi Adityanath and railway minister Piyush Goyal , seeking their intervention in the death of a youth from Arunachal Pradesh, allegedly pushed from a moving train in Uttar Pradesh recently.Tage Dule, a youth from Ziro in Lower Subansiri district, was reportedly thrown off the Arunachal Express in the intervening night of August 2 and 3 in the Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh. "I am also given to understand that there were burn injuries on his body, which indicates foul play by the miscreants before they pushed him out of the train," he added.Seeking an immediate probe into the incident and stringent action, the chief minister added, "I request you to kindly expedite action for thorough investigation and early arrest of the culprits."
