Coronavirus is turning uncontrollable in Rajasthan as the state recorded 11967 fresh positive cases of Covid-19 on Monday, while a record 53 people succumbed to the virus.

Rajasthan government imposed the Jan Anushashan Pakhwara from April 19 midnight till May 3, but on the very first day, its failure was clearly seen in many districts including the capital Jaipur. A large number of vehicles could be seen on the roads all day, even traffic was seen at some places. At the same time, the long list of exemptions given under public administration allowed the citizens to come out in large numbers.

According to Health Department, 2011 from Jaipur, 1641 from Jodhpur, 1307 from Kota, 701 from Alwar, 702 from Udaipur, 401 from Bikaner, 403 from Ajmer, 550 from Bhilwara, 183 from Pali, 148 from Nagaur, 248 from Sikar. 152, 243 from Dungarpur, 142 from Sriganganagar, 242 from Rajsamand, 280 from Chittaurgarh, 123 from Jalore, 202 from Sirohi, 101 from Barmer, 399 from Dholpur, 150 from Jhunjhunu, 167 from Jhalawar, 133 from Churu, 103 from Tonk, 187 from Baran, 117 from Hanumangarh, 67 from Bundi, 92 from Banswara, 174 cases have been reported from Sawai Madhopur, 187 from Dausa, 85 from Jaisalmer, 129 from Karauli, 197 cases from Pratapgarh (Covid 19) people have tested positive for Covid-19.

So far 3204 deaths have been reported due to coronavirus in Rajasthan, while the active case tally has reached 76641.
