Teacher held for raping, impregnating class 6 student in Jodhpur

A very disturbing case has come to light from Jodhpur in Rajasthan; here a government school teacher, who was accused of raping and impregnated a class 6th student has been arrested by police on Thursday.
Another teacher of the school located in Shergarh, Jodhpur, involved in the conspiracy to commit this crime is being hunted.
The incident occurred in Shekhala village located in the Balesar police station area of the district. According to police, the victim is a 13-year-old student of class 6 at Government Upper Primary School in the Mokamgarh area.
Shergarh police officer Raju Ram Choudhary said that a search operation was launched to nab the two teachers who were absconding and the main accused Surjaram was arrested on Thursday night.
He told that the teacher of the government school in Baba Ki Nimbari of Mokamgarh, Shergarh, Surjaram had raped the girl three to four times in the school in March, while another teacher Sahi Ram guarded her outside the room. Both threatened the girl not to mention this incident to anyone.
After learning about the incident a few days back, when the girl had stomach pain and her father took her to the hospital, where it came to light that she was raped and pregnant. A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of the IPC. Apart from this, POCSO Act has also been imposed against both of them.
