IMD issue severe heat wave warning in Rajasthan for next two days, monsoon unlikely till July 7

There is a possibility of a heat wave at isolated places in the districts of Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Kota divisions

It has been 10 days since the onset of monsoon in the state, but still many districts of Rajasthan are untouched by rains, There is no relief in the coming days as well. Meteorological Department has warned of a heat wave at various places.

Around 80 percent of Rajasthan is still waiting for the monsoon, which has completely covered the entire country.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be mainly dry for the next four to five days in most parts of the state. During the next 48 hours, there is a possibility of a heat wave at isolated places in the districts of Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Kota divisions. However, there is a possibility of light rain at some places in the districts of the Udaipur and Kota divisions.

Mercury is rising in the state for the past several days. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature of the day was recorded in Churu and Karauli at 44.4 degree Celsius, in Dholpur 44.3 degree, Pilani 44.2 degree, Ganganagar 44.1 degree, Alwar 44.0 degree, Bikaner 43.1, Jaipur`s mercury 41.4 degree Celsius. At the same time, in the last 24 hours, along with heat wave in eastern and western Rajasthan, extreme heat wave has also been recorded in Alwar and Bundi districts of eastern Rajasthan. The highest maximum temperature was recorded in Churu and Karauli at 44.4 degree Celsius.
