Covid Vaccination in many districts of Rajasthan will be suspended for two days in view of the shortage of Covid-19 vaccines in the state.

There will be no vaccination in Rajasthan for two days today and tomorrow. The consignment of the vaccine which was to come from the Central Government today is not expected to arrive till late evening.

The ongoing controversy regarding the supply of Covid-19 vaccine in Rajasthan has come to the fore again. The Gehlot government says that despite being among the leading states in vaccination, the state is not sending enough doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. The vaccination drive is getting affected due to the delay in supply. The central government should provide an adequate number of vaccines to Rajasthan.

CM Gehlot tweeted regarding the shortage of vaccines in the state yesterday, he said "There are about 70 thousand vaccine doses left in the state today, which will be installed today. Vaccination work has stopped in most of the districts even today due to lack of vaccine. Rajasthan is not getting the vaccine as per the requirement from the central government, due to which the vaccination is being stopped again and again".

Earlier on June 28, the vaccination drive was temporarily suspended due to the shortage of supply from the Centre government.
