Rajasthan weather: IMD issues red alert for heavy rains in several districts of Rajasthan

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert expressing the possibility of heavy to very heavy rains at one or two places in four districts of Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Baran, Karauli districts.

Monsoon is wreaking havoc in Rajasthan. For the last one week, good rains are being recorded in East Rajasthan due to monsoon. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in 4 districts for the next 24 hours.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert expressing the possibility of heavy to very heavy rains at one or two places in four districts of Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Baran, Karauli districts.

According to the information received, the rainy season in Rajasthan will continue for the next three days. More than 20 places have received heavy rain in the last 24 hours. According to the data, 241.98 mm of rain has been received in the state. According to experts, the rainfall so far is only 5 percent less than normal.

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert today, expressing the possibility of heavy rains at one or two places in Ajmer, Jaipur, Alwar, Dausa, Bhilwara, Tonk, Bundi and Jhalawar districts of eastern Rajasthan. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued at one or two places in the districts of Bharatpur, Dholpur, Pratapgarh, Banswara, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, districts.

Apart from this, a warning of heavy rain has been issued at one or two places in Nagaur district of western Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and showers in Jaipur and its surrounding area due to partly cloudy weather. At the same time, the maximum temperature can be around 28 and the minimum temperature can be around 24 degree Celsius.
