The chief guest of the event was Rampal Saini (DEO-elementary). The chief guest gave away the prizes to the first three position holder teams. Principal Prof Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the winners and lauded the efforts of the department for organising the event. CAMPUS NOTES Jalandhar: A three-day CBSE Regional-Level Science Exhibition concluded at MGN Public School, Adarsh Nagar, Jalandhar, here on Tuesday. The chief guest of the event was Rampal Saini (DEO-elementary). He appreciated the efforts and innovation of students reflected through models and congratulated them for their unique ideas to use the limited natural resources wisely. He said such exhibitions develop a scientific bent of mind. The judgment was made by professors of various universities. Five teams were shortlisted under different themes, which had qualified for the national-level competition to be held in Delhi. The chief guest gave away the prizes to the first three position holder teams. OC Poster-making competition Jalandhar: The Department of Students Welfare of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KMV), organised a poster-making competition here on Tuesday. As many as 50 students participated in the event. The participants presented their thoughts related to the topic of female foeticide, gender inequality, brotherhood, poverty, importance of education and clean environment. Principal Prof Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the winners and lauded the efforts of the department for organising the event. OC
