Four travel agents booked

On the basis of the statement of Gobind Singh, son of Daljit Singh, a resident of Lamme (Kapurthala), the police have booked Harminder Singh Shally, a resident of Chack Sharif, JD Patel, Sanjeev and Naresh Patel. Gobind Singh alleged that his brother-in-law and those accompanying him were kept in captivity in Bangalore instead of being sent to Canada. In his statement to the police, Gobind Singh said travel agent Harminder Singh had taken his brother-in-law Surinderpal Singh, son of Sewa Singh, a resident of Kalyanpur, from his house for a flight to Canada on December 3, 2017. Gobind appealed to the police to get his brother-in-law released as soon as possible from the clutches of the accused.

They had come back by giving ransom money of Rs 22 and 21 lakh, respectively, taken at gun-point. He feared the accused had also assaulted his brother-in-law. Gobind appealed to the police to get his brother-in-law released as soon as possible from the clutches of the accused. The police have registered a case and started probing the matter.
