Post Sodal Mela, students organise cleanliness drive

Every year thousands of devotees assembled here for religious and fun activities that later increases the garbage at the place. Understanding the needs of keeping the city neat and clean, the students held a drive at the Sodal area. University positionsStudents of DAV College, Jalandhar, excelled in MA Sanskrit (Sem IV) exams, the result for which was declared by Guru Nanak Dev University. Diksha scored 1304/1600 and bagged the second position whereas Ruby Mishra secured 1170/1600 and bagged the third position in the university.

Understanding the needs of keeping the city neat and clean, the students held a drive at the Sodal area. The event was spearheaded by Aashika Jain, Joint Commissioner, MCJ along with other officials. University positions Students of DAV College, Jalandhar, excelled in MA Sanskrit (Sem IV) exams, the result for which was declared by Guru Nanak Dev University. Nidhi Bansal clinched the first position by securing 1400/1600 marks and got the gold medal. Diksha scored 1304/1600 and bagged the second position whereas Ruby Mishra secured 1170/1600 and bagged the third position in the university. Principal Dr SK Arora lauded the efforts of the students.
