Tribune News ServiceJalandhar, September 21Senior Congress leader, Rajinder Pal Singh Rana Randhawa, on Saturday assumed the charge of Chairman, Kartarpur Improvement Trust (KIT). Randhawa said he would accord the top priority to ensure clean and transparent administration in the Trust. He said every effort would be made to further streamline the working of the Trust to facilitate the people, adding that the viable mechanism be evolved for launching new schemes for the residents of Kartarpur. Earlier, thousands of workers from the region gave a rousing welcome to him. Lok Sabha MP Chaudhary Santokh Singh was also present.
