Jalandhar, September 22Senior BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia has termed the state government’s approval to notify the crop loan waiver scheme another fraud with the farmers of Punjab. He further added that the CM had approved the draft notification for farm debt waiver at the Cabinet meeting after the announcement of the Gurdaspur bypoll schedule and imposition of Code of Conduct. “It is in everybody’s knowledge that the Gurdaspur bypoll is going to be held in October and why did the Congress government not issue the notification for farm debt waiver before September?” asked Kalia.
