Hoshiarpur girl wins abacus competition

Hoshiarpur, December 14Deshna Mini (12) has won the 22nd International Mental Abacus Competition, held in Malaysia. Twelve children from Punjab and three from Hoshiarpur district — Jasmin, Sanchi Rajpal and Deshna — had participated in the tournament. As many as 6,000 children from 75 countries participated in the competition. They solved questions of mathematics on abacus.
