Youth s body found inside Alipore Bodyguard Lines

Kolkata: Mystery intensified after the body of a youth was found inside Alipore Bodyguard Lines on Saturday evening. According to sources, two youths from his place are police personnel in Kolkata Police. To take the money, Prasenjit again came to Kolkata and met them but no money was returned to him. On Saturday, a senior official from Alipore Bodyguard Lines called up Uttam and informed that his son's body was spotted inside the bodyguard lines premises. The police are trying to identify the person, with whom Prasenjit came to meet.

Kolkata: Mystery intensified after the body of a youth was found inside Alipore Bodyguard Lines on Saturday evening. The deceased was identified as Prasenjit Sinha (28) of Pukhuria in Malda. According to sources, two youths from his place are police personnel in Kolkata Police. During July in 2017, the duo allegedly provided a job in Kolkata Police to Prasenjit. They also demanded money from Prasenjit to help him get a job. In order to bag the job, he paid Rs 3 lakh. According to the complaint filed by Prasenjits father Uttam, who is also a police personnel posted North Dinajpur, after two years when his son did not get the job promised by two of the police personnel, Prasenjit asked them to return his money. When the accused persons did not bother to return the money, Prasenjit reportedly warned them that if they did not return the money he will lodge a complaint at Chief Ministers Office. According to Uttam, a few weeks ago Prasenjit came to Kolkata in to get his money back. However, he was asked to come during the second week of August. To take the money, Prasenjit again came to Kolkata and met them but no money was returned to him. On Friday night, Prasenjit reportedly called up Uttam and stated that the duo did not returned the money. Following that no contact could be established with Prasenjit. On Saturday, a senior official from Alipore Bodyguard Lines called up Uttam and informed that his sons body was spotted inside the bodyguard lines premises. On Friday, Uttam lodged a complaint at the Watgunge police station against two police personnel working in Kolkata Police. However, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Murli Dhar on Sunday said an enquiry has been started. The police are trying to identify the person, with whom Prasenjit came to meet.
