Kolkata: A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable allegedly assaulted a passenger on Monday evening. It is reported that the passenger was accused of taking picture of a woman but while searching his phone, no such pictures could be found. A complaint has been lodged at the Kalighat police station against the RPF constable. On Monday evening, a youth identified as Caesar Mishra deboarded a metro rake at the Kalighat metro station. It is alleged that at that moment a woman with few other youths were standing there. The woman alleged that Mishra has clicked her pictures. She informed a RPF constable. Mishra alleged the RPF constable Rajesh Kumar Meena allegedly tried snatching his mobile phone. When he said he would only allow his mobile phone to be checked in front of the station master, Meena allegedly pushed him. A protest was staged at the he Kalighat metro station in this connection.
