Ludhiana, January 5 The police have arrested three thieves and recovered stolen electronic goods worth lakhs from them. The arrested persons have been identified as Jaswant Singh, alias Vicki, of Tajpur Road; Sandeep Sahni of Jugiani village; and Kishori Kumar of Tajpur Road here. The electronic goods recovered by the police include six LEDs, two television sets, one amplifier and speakers. The police have also confiscated a three-wheeler on which the accused were allegedly going to sell the stolen goods. According to the police, the accused were arrested by a police team led by ASI Gurdial Singh at a police naka on Tajpur Road. The ASI said: “At the naka, we stopped a three-wheeler. We asked the driver to show the documents related to the electronic goods kept in the vehicle but he failed. We arrested all three persons traveling in the auto,” said the ASI. “The accused have confessed that they stole these goods from Komal Telcom on Tajpur Road on the night of December 29," said ASI.
