We explained to him how the Construction work of Panipat-Jalandhar Link of National Highway has been stuck for years in Ludhiana, especially near Sherpur Chowk.Due to construction work, the slip roads are the prime road for movement in Ludhiana and our biggest cause of concern is that inspite of such a big stretch of national highway passing through city Ludhiana has not been provided with any entry and exit point on each side of the National Highway. For instance at the Cancer Hospital Chowk, there is no proposed entry or exit point from the national highway. Which means when the national highway work is complete and its open for traffic there won't be a link for the local traffic."
