DSGMC announced that kar sewa would be started at gurdwara Rakabganj on September 24. Baba Jagtar Singh kar sewa wale bought it from private owners and its first floor was demolished. People around the world preserve their heritage but here, they have destroyed it under the garb of kar sewa, that too with funds raised from the Sikhs. Chetan Singh, former director, languages department, who edited the work, said, "He took pictures in the later part of his tour, during which he covered remote places in undivided India. He had urged the community to take care of their heritage and historic places," said Chetan Singh.
