Amritsar tragedy: Panic gripped Ludhiana station; driver, guard of Howrah Mail questioned

LUDHIANA: Hours after the tragic train accident in Amritsar panic gripped the Ludhiana Railway station when rumour was spread that the killer train is reaching at Ludhiana station.Following the information, all officials huddled at the station. However driver in custody claimed that the train crossed through the spot minutes before incident.Till late night driver and guard of Howrah Mail were being questioned in Ludhiana while the train was allowed to move ahead with another driver. As soon as a train stopped at railway station it’s diver and guard, identified as Jagseer and Panna Lal respectively, were taken into custody.Later it was identified the train is Howrah Mail.The officials also clicked picture of engine to find blood stains.
