Ludhiana fire tragedy: Kin of 5 fire-fighters get job letters

LUDHIANA: The kin of five fire-fighters got appointment letters from local bodies minister Navjot Sidhu on Tuesday, exactly a year after the fire and building collapse incident in Suffian Chowk. .Those who got the letters are: Tushar Sharma, son of senior fire officer late Rajinder Sharma; Sahil Gill, son of senior fire officer Sumaun Gill; Parminder Singh, son of senior fire officer Rajkumar; Bhupinder Singh, son of leading fireman late Puran Singh; and Rekha Rani, wife of fireman late Rajan. They were called to Chandigarh on Tuesday, and handed over the appointment letters.
