Ludhiana: As the last date for regularisation of illegal colonies is close, Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) offices will remain open on Saturday and Sunday.Glada officials have received around 120 applications from the developers and 5,000 entries from plot holders so far. There are over 1,400 illegal colonies in the district under the development authority’s jurisdiction. The policy is coming to an end on Sunday.Glada estate officer Sonam Chaudhary said, “The applicants can submit their respective files at designated HDFC Bank branches or Glada office.” Only a handful of developers have applied for the regularisation.
