LUDHIANA: An 18-year-old student accused her neighbour of raping her for the past nine months.The girl has alleged that the 22-year-old accused also clicked her nude photos and recorded the video of the act to sexually exploit her. The accused also extorted money from her, she alleged.The girl on Saturday narrated her ordeal to her parents following which a complaint was lodged at a police station.The police have registered a case under sections of 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC against the accused."The police have registered a case immediately after receiving the compliant. The police team has raided the house of the accused. However, he is absconding. The police have launched a manhunt to nab him," investigating officer Arshdeep Kaur Grewal said.
