NGO distributes dustbins to locals

On Wednesday, we recycled plastic drums used for transporting chemicals by cleaning it thoroughly and painting it from the inside. He added that the slogan ‘Say no to plastic’ and telling people about segregating of waste will surely help in making the city clean and green. The reason behind distributing the dustbin is to help people become aware about segregation of garbage and throw it in different bins.”President of Pritampuri hosiery association Gurdev Singh Saini said, “Garbage menace has become a major problem. It is a pity to see Buddha Nullah in such a deplorable condition. In the drive, we made people aware about using less plastic.”Tarun Dabur, a hosiery owner said, it is a good initiative by the authorities and the members of the organisation.

Ludhiana: To promote cleanliness and spread awareness among residents about segregation of garbage, Pritampuri area locals near Shivpuri along with members of NGO Lifeline Foundation distributed dustbins in the residential and industrial areas.Municipal corporation assistant commissioner Jasdev Sekhon, who was also part of the event, appreciated the NGO for taking up the initiative of distributing dustbins in the area.Founder of Lifeline Foundation Jaswant Singh said, “We came up with the idea to support the cleanliness drive that is being done by the Namdhari sect at a greater level.
