Ludhiana: A 22-year-old man was arrested from an examination centre at Police DAV Public School, Civil Lines, for allegedly impersonating as a student during social sciences exam of CBSE Class X on Friday.The accused, Sahil Malhotra of Ludhiana, had pasted his photograph on the admit card of the student to appear for the examination on latter’s behalf.A case has been registered against the man for cheating. The police have also booked the minor student for whom the accused appeared in the examination.The police produced the accused before the court on Saturday following which he was sent to judicial custody.Sahil is cousin of the student who was weak in social science.
